About the Opportunity
We are actively seeking an experienced Traveling Mechanical Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale mechanical construction projects across the United States. This role is ideal for a driven construction professional with strong experience managing HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical scopes on complex projects such as hyperscale data centers, industrial facilities, healthcare campuses, advanced manufacturing plants, and large commercial developments.

Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee project financials including budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and change orders
- Coordinate HVAC, piping, plumbing, hydronic, and process mechanical systems installation
- Lead subcontractor management, procurement, scheduling, and project execution
- Work closely with Superintendents, Engineers, BIM/VDC teams, and field personnel
- Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget
- Handle client communication, progress reporting, and coordination meetings
- Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and company procedures
- Travel full-time to active project sites nationwide
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Construction Project Management
- Background working for a Mechanical Contractor strongly preferred
- Experience managing large-scale projects in one or more of the following sectors:
- Data Centers
- Healthcare
- Industrial Manufacturing
- Pharmaceutical
- Commercial Construction
- Advanced Technology Facilities
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing systems, hydronics, chilled water, and process piping
- Experience managing mechanical project budgets ranging from $10M – $250M+
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, BIM/VDC coordination, and scheduling software preferred
- Stable work history and willingness to travel extensively
