Mechanical Project Engineer

Location: St. Louis
Compensation: $85K – $110K Base + Full Benefits Package

About the Opportunity

A rapidly growing Mechanical Contractor is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to support large commercial and industrial projects throughout the St. Louis region. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional looking to grow into an Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager role.

Projects include Data Centers, Food & Beverage facilities, Government buildings, and complex mechanical retrofit work.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with daily project operations
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, procurement, and scheduling
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
• Track project documentation and progress
• Assist with budgeting and cost tracking
• Participate in coordination meetings and project planning
• Support HVAC, process piping, controls, and mechanical scopes

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Mechanical Construction
• Background working for a Mechanical Contractor preferred
• Exposure to HVAC, piping, plumbing, or controls systems
• Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Revit, or Navisworks preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Desire to grow within a Design-Build Mechanical Contractor environment
