Assistant Project Manager – Mechanical Construction

Location: St. Louis
Compensation: $95K – $130K Base + Full Benefits Package

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager with Mechanical Construction experience to support large-scale Design-Build projects throughout the St. Louis market. This role will support Project Managers on complex HVAC, process piping, refrigeration, and controls projects across Data Centers, Food & Beverage, Government, and Industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Support scheduling, procurement, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination
• Review project drawings, specifications, and submittals
• Coordinate field operations and project documentation
• Assist with cost tracking and forecasting
• Participate in owner, architect, and contractor meetings
• Support self-perform mechanical operations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Mechanical Construction experience
• Experience supporting HVAC, piping, plumbing, or controls projects
• Background with a Mechanical Contractor preferred
• Familiarity with Design-Build project delivery
• Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, Revit, or Navisworks
• Strong communication and organizational skills
