Location: Seattle, WA
Compensation: Base salary up to $105,000 + bonus + benefits
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects throughout the Seattle market. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career with a reputable general contractor while gaining exposure to all phases of construction operations.
The Project Engineer will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to help drive project execution, coordination, documentation, and communication from preconstruction through closeout.
Assist in managing commercial construction projects from start to finish
Support Project Managers with scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
Maintain and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams
Help ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
Review construction drawings and specifications for accuracy and constructability
Participate in project meetings and site walks
Track material deliveries and assist with project logistics
Support safety and quality control initiatives on assigned projects
Assist with project closeout documentation and turnover
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
1–5+ years of experience in commercial construction
Experience supporting projects for a general contractor preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Autodesk Construction Cloud
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Experience in one or more of the following project types is preferred:
