Superintendent
Location: Seattle, WA
Compensation: $125,000-$200,000 annually
About the Opportunity
A well-established commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field construction activities on complex commercial projects in the Seattle market. This role is responsible for coordinating jobsite operations, managing field teams and trade partners, maintaining schedule and quality standards, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project documents.
This is a strong opportunity for a Superintendent who enjoys being close to the work, leading field execution, solving problems in real time, and helping deliver high-quality projects from mobilization through punch list and closeout.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise daily field construction activities and coordinate all jobsite operations
• Direct field personnel and trade partners to maintain schedule, budget, quality, and safety expectations
• Build, update, and maintain project schedules while identifying and resolving field issues before they impact progress
• Coordinate material deliveries, inspections, manpower needs, site logistics, and sequencing
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient jobsite, including field office operations and logistics planning
• Review plans, specifications, and trade scopes to ensure work is installed correctly and coordinated across disciplines
• Manage self-performed work when applicable
• Maintain strong working relationships with owners, architects, trade partners, vendors, inspectors, and internal project teams
• Lead punch list planning and completion through project closeout
• Promote a strong safety culture and correct jobsite hazards immediately
• Ensure employees and trade partners follow company safety standards and jobsite requirements
Qualifications
• Prior commercial construction field leadership experience
• Experience with scheduling, field supervision, quality control, material coordination, inspections, and production tracking
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, field teams, and trade partners in a fast-moving construction environment
• Working knowledge of multiple trade scopes and construction sequencing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, systematic approach to field execution, documentation, and follow-through
• Ability to manage diverse personalities and maintain productive jobsite relationships
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required
• Equivalent field experience will be considered
Compensation & Benefits
• Annual salary range: $135,000-$205,000
