Commercial Construction Traveling Superintendent

Diamond Peak Recruiting is partnering with a leading general contractor to identify an experienced Commercial Traveling Superintendent to oversee ground-up commercial construction projects throughout the Southeast. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through project completion.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate daily jobsite operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, conducting regular progress meetings with project teams.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, owners, architects, and engineers throughout the construction process.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, OSHA regulations, and project specifications.
- Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining productivity and project momentum.
- Conduct inspections, manage punch lists, and oversee project closeout activities.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
- Proven experience constructing structural steel buildings of five stories or more.
- Experience managing commercial construction projects with budgets of $10M+.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, construction sequencing, safety, and quality control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the Southeast for project assignments.
- Preferred home base in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, or Georgia.
