Mechanical Construction Project Manager – Pittsburgh, PA
Diamond Peak Recruiting is partnering with a leading mechanical contractor seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to join their Pittsburgh team.
This opportunity is ideal for a Project Manager with a strong background managing commercial mechanical construction projects, including HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems. The successful candidate will have experience overseeing projects from preconstruction through closeout while coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage mechanical construction projects from kickoff through completion
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement, change orders, and client communication
- Coordinate with estimating, engineering, field operations, and project stakeholders
- Manage HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical system installations
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial mechanical construction projects
- Strong experience with HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems
- Experience managing projects valued at $2M+
- Background working on projects such as:
- Healthcare facilities
- Data centers
- Manufacturing facilities
- Schools / higher education
- Government projects
- Strong understanding of mechanical construction processes, scheduling, and project execution
