Project Engineer – Commercial Construction
Location: Seattle, WA
Salary: $85,000–$100,000 Base + Benefits
Are you an early-career construction professional looking to grow with a respected commercial general contractor? Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team in Seattle, supporting the successful delivery of high-quality commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities
-Support Project Managers and Superintendents throughout all phases of construction.
-Assist with project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
-Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and owners to keep projects moving forward.
-Track project schedules and help ensure milestones are met.
-Review construction drawings and specifications for completeness and accuracy.
-Maintain organized project records and ensure document control.
-Assist with procurement of materials and subcontractor coordination.
-Participate in jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
-Help identify and resolve project issues before they impact schedule or budget.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
-1–3 years of experience in commercial construction as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or similar role.
-Strong understanding of construction processes, project documentation, and scheduling.
-Excellent organizational and communication skills.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project is a plus.
-Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow within the organization.
Compensation & Benefits
