The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for the day-to-day field management of commercial construction projects, serving as the primary leader in delivering exceptional projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards.

Position Overview
The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for the day-to-day field management of commercial construction projects, serving as the primary leader on site. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing luxury retail, high-end hospitality, and other complex commercial interiors.

This individual will coordinate subcontractors, vendors, project teams, and site activities while maintaining a strong focus on quality, schedule, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects.
  • Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality, and workmanship.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, architects, engineers, owners, and other project stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site meetings and coordinate daily activities.
  • Review plans, specifications, shop drawings, and project documents.
  • Identify and resolve field issues and conflicts proactively.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
  • Enforce company and OSHA safety standards and procedures.
  • Track materials, deliveries, inspections, and site logistics.
  • Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and turnover.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project partners.
  • Represent the company professionally throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading luxury retail construction projects.
  • Proven hospitality construction experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with high-end commercial interiors, renovations, build-outs, or ground-up construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, and scheduling.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong subcontractor management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA and jobsite safety requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Proficiency with construction/project management software is a plus.
