We’re looking for a Mechanical Construction Project Manager to join a commercial HVAC contractor supporting projects throughout the Los Angeles market.
This role will manage a mix of ground-up construction and renovation projects across a broad commercial portfolio.
Responsibilities
• Manage commercial mechanical projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Oversee HVAC scopes, schedules, budgets, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and procurement
• Coordinate with field leadership, general contractors, owners, engineers, and subcontractors
• Maintain project financials, forecasting, billing, and cost control
• Support project planning, manpower coordination, and material procurement
• Identify project risks early and drive issues toward resolution
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
Ideal Background
• Experience managing commercial mechanical construction projects
• Strong HVAC construction knowledge
• Experience with both new construction and renovation work
• Comfortable managing multiple project stakeholders and priorities
• Strong understanding of project financials and change management
• Ability to work effectively with both field and office teams
• Los Angeles commercial construction experience is preferred
